Hi friends,
The Grace Commentary is like a tall cathedral rising stone by stone. Or maybe it’s a big barn rising plank by plank. Here are three numbers that measure our current state of progress:
1746
That’s how many entries I have written for Romans in the past few months. Romans was always going to be a challenge. But by the grace of God, I have managed to write 2000+ words/day for weeks and weeks. I feel like I have run up Mt Everest.
Here’s a graph to put the number of entries in context:

In terms of content, Romans towers over the other completed books on the Commentary – or it will do when we finish uploading the new material in a month or so. The Romans’ commentary will be available in both book format and FREE here on the Grace Commentary website. As far as I know, it will be the biggest grace-based commentary on Romans available anywhere.

That is how many countries are appearing in our latest traffic stats. In other words, readers are accessing the Grace Commentary from nearly every country on earth – which is a little mind-boggling.

The well-represented countries on that list are the ones you’d expect: United States, Philippines, United Kingdom, South Africa, Australia, Germany, and so on. But the Grace Commentary is also being read in hard-to-reach places like Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Bhutan, Libya, and Yemen. The message of grace is being heard everywhere!

The Grace Commentary recently celebrated its fourth anniversary. Given how fast the commentary has grown in that short time and how many people are using it to grow in the grace of God, I’m super excited to see what the future holds. I hope you are excited too.
Writing a Bible commentary is a solitary job, but I am not alone. I want to take this opportunity to thank every reader who has provided feedback, sent a word of encouragement, or joined the support team. I hope you realize that you are part of something special that is changing lives and bearing fruit all over the world.
Grace and peace,
Paul

Yay Team! Thank you Paul, love being a part of this adventure! 😀
What a privilege to be a part of this enormous work Paul!
Hey Paul, thanks again for providing such a great service to all of this. It’s amazing how you’ve been able to stick with this and write up to 2000 words a day regarding Romans. I have used the grace commentary on a regular basis and I’m so glad that you have made such progress with Romans! In November, it will be 10 years since we first met on escape to reality. I definitely appreciate your friendship, your wisdom and your humor. 🙂
