Om Dr. Paul Ellis

Through his popular website, Flugt til virkeligheden, he has helped countless people break free from performance-based religion and discover the rest and joy found in Christ alone.
With a background as a pastor, professor, and Bible smuggler, Paul combines theological depth with pastoral insight. His thoughtful yet accessible style has led some to describe him as “C.S. Lewis with a Kiwi accent.”
When he is not working on the Grace Commentary, he is taking the best bits and polishing them for Nådebibelen — a study Bible designed for the everyday reader.
Paul has lived in Australia, Hong Kong, and the United States. He currently resides in New Zealand with his wife Camilla and their four children.
