Coming like a thief. When the Lord returns, he will arrive suddenly (1 Th. 5:2, 2 Pet. 3:10). People won’t expect it. How then should we live? Those slumbering in the stupor of sin need to wake up. We all need to be ready for the Master’s return (Mark 13:33–37). See also the entry for Rev. 3:3.
