Слово Боже refers to the revealed will of God. When we live in accordance with God’s revealed will, we live sanctified lives. We are not sanctified because we do these things; we are sanctified by the sacrifice of the Lamb (Heb. 10:10). But we sanctify our conduct (1 Tim. 4:5).

Тита 2:11-12
Бо з’явилася благодать Божа, що приносить спасіння всім людям, навчаючи нас відкинути безбожність і світські пожадливості та жити розумно, праведно і благочестиво в теперішньому віці,

(б) Спасіння. The original word means deliverance or rescue. Jesus is the great Deliverer who rescues us from our enemies (Luke 1:71). See запис для Спасіння.
(c) Принесення спасіння всім людям, both Jews and Gentiles alike. Jesus was not merely the Jewish Messiah but the Savior of the world (John 4:42, 1 John 4:14). See запис for John. 4:42.
(г) Інструктуючи нас. Благодать Божа навчає нас жити праведно.
God does not train us with the old inducements of the law. Carrots and sticks are for donkeys, not the dearly-loved children of the Most High. He teaches us through his word of his grace via the Spirit of grace (John 14:26) and through our brothers and sisters who edify us with their words of grace (Eph. 4:29, Col. 4:6).
(д) Заперечувати безбожність. To those who say grace is a license to sin (e.g., Rom. 6:1), Paul offers this emphatic rebuttal. The grace of God teaches us to say no to ungodliness and sin.
It is a grave mistake to think we can resist the power of sin in our own strength. If we’re relying on our own resolve to keep us pure, there’s a good chance we will stumble (1 Cor. 10:12). As the old proverb says, pride goes before a fall (see Pro. 16:18). Only the grace of God can enable us to say no to ungodliness and live righteously.

Очистити для себе. Malachi the prophet said the Lord would “purify the sons of Levi” (Mal. 3:3). On the cross Jesus divided the pure from the dross and cleansed the sinner.
